Hello,

We would be more than happy to help you and your wife receive more information on how UFE can help resolve her uterine fibroid problem.

Shirley,

Being that you are looking to get rid of your fibroids non-surgically, you may want to look into Uterine Fibroid Embolization. The procedure is safe, quick, and best of all, you don't have to worry about the "cutting" that is associated with other fibroid removal surgery procedures. Many women have benefited from the results of UFE and have found that it is a preferred alternative to other traditional fibroid surgeries.

To find out more about how you too can benefit from UFE, please feel free to call us at 310-208-2442 and schedule a consultation.

I too am suffering with numerous fibroids that have caused an enlarged uterus. The kicker for me, even though I am going to be 52 yrs old in November, is that my sister died of a malignant fibroid that spread some 27 years ago at age 37. So since my fibroids have been causing me trouble (over 3 years plus now), I have had this in the back of my mind. My doctor tells me how rare and that if we just wait and see, once I enter menopause they will shrink. I have recently gone to another doctor for second opinion and he is giving me GnRH and then will do the DaVinci hysterecomy. A less invasive procedure. To ease my mind due to my family history, that is the best way to rule out cancer.

Several years ago, in my 40's, I had UFE and it was quite successful. I began running for exercise again and a couple years later I hiked all over the Sierras, including a climb up Mt. Whitney with a backpack. I felt strong and confident. It took about a year for the masses to shrink completely, but I had physical relief within a few weeks. Recovery from the surgery was speedy and I never had to use prescription pain meds. I have now completed menopause and went through that phase with little discomfort.
