"This is my daughter Taylor. She's 4 years old. She probably wouldn't be here if I hadn't had the embolization. In 1997 I went to my regular gynecologist and he found a tumor. I had one of each type of fibroid. I had a pendunculated fibroid; I had one that was inside the uterine wall; and I also had one that was inside the uterus. They were enlarged.
We knew we wanted to have a baby - at that time we were not trying to but we knew at some time we wanted to. So fertility was an issue.
